  2. What is it?
  3. With the Pitch Envelope you can control the pitch of a sound over time, and with the LFO you can add vibrato with control of the depth over time.

  5. How to use it
  6. The Pitch Envelope has the following two parameters, Range and LFO.  The default parameters will not change the pitch (after Reset).

The Range popup menu can have a value of x4 to √∑12, it controls the maximum pitch range the envelope can have when it is processed.  For example with a Range of x2, there would be a two octave range (up two octaves and down two octaves).  A Range of √∑12 would be a range of a half step, (1/12 of an octave).

  10. The LFO dialog box lets you add vibrato to the sound.  When a waveform is selected, the envelope controls the depth of the LFO.

You can get frequency modulation (FM) effects when the LFO frequency is about 20 Hz or higher.  Try this on a sound of someone talking for a robotic effect.  Set the envelope type to Pitch, Range √∑3,  waveform to Triangle, Frequency to 160 Hz, and move the envelope tags for maximum LFO depth.
